Michael Gung

Ever since I attended an airshow at Moody Air Force Base, I knew aviation was my calling. After graduating with a degree in International Business, I followed my true passion by moving to Daytona Beach, where I earned my ratings at Epic Flight Academy. Now, I’m thrilled to be starting my own flight school in Valdosta, Georgia, where I can share my love of flying with others. In my downtime I enjoy flight simulators like DCS and Microsoft Flight Simulator, and I never miss a chance to go for a bike ride with my dog, Maverick.

Fascinated with aviation since I was a young boy, it’s no surprise I ended up becoming a professional pilot. I remember going to the airport with my father when I was young and watching airplanes fly. This fascination has turned into a passion that I am blessed to share with others as my career! I graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2021 and finished up my flight training at Epic Flight Academy in New Smyrna Beach, FL where I completed my instrument rating, commercial certificate and CFI. I am excited to share my love for flying with others in Valdosta! On my off days, I tend to relax and spend time with friends, work on my Volvo, and occasionally play games with friends.
